If your budget is say under 00 I would look at a used SKB or Browning.I know there was one very old one with external hammers and Damascus barrels, that I would stay away from. Then one day for giggles I shouldered the CZ and it fit so nice and came up just perfect for me that I had to have it. If you can spend double that, CSMC and Merkel make some great Sx S.

I've been thinking of picking one up for hunting birds. I haven't looked closely yet but I want something decent so I'm wondering what's good and what to stay away from.constriction or tubes,how to appraise condition,what your budget is- just a few of the questions you have to answer for yourself.
